Paxton Neckwarmer PATTERN

Our original patterns marry simple construction to sophisticated design.

A Liverpool Yarns hand knit creation shows equally well on a hike in the Lehigh Valley or on a stroll through Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

We name our patterns after Pennsylvania towns in homage to our many fellow Pennsylvania knitters and to the state's wool and fiber processing industry.

All patterns available as digital downloads.

Paxton Neckwarmer PATTERN

Yarn: Liverpool Worsted

Yardage: 150 yards
Gauge: 18 stitches and 22 rounds = 4 inches in spiral purl
Needle size: US size 7 (4.5mm) 16" circular needle
Sizes: One size

Like the lazy swoop of a hawk, the purl ridges on the Paxton Neckwarmer spiral from bottom to top. Not too tight and not too loose, this will keep your neck warm on long hikes in the hills or short jaunts in the city.

Worked with one skein of worsted weight yarn, it’s a quick, fun knit. The samples shown are worked in Gossamer and Silt.

The finished measurements are a circumference of 18” and a height of 8”, and it will fit most teens and adults.

This is an excellent project for the advanced beginner knitter.

You will need a US size 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needle and a yarn needle to weave in your ends.
