Q. Where is your yarn sourced?
A. Our fiber is sourced from Great Britain from a collective of sheep farmers. Both our natural and dyed yarns are spun from top that has been tested and passed the guidelines required to receive the British Wool Mark. Our dyed yarns are spun from top that has been tested and passed the guidelines to receive the Oeko-Tex 100 certification.

 

Q. Where is your yarn spun?
A. We work closely with Sweitzer’s Fiber Mill in Seven Valleys, Pa., to process and spin our yarns to our specifications.

Q. Where are you located?
A. We ship all our yarn from Philadelphia, Pa.

Q. Do you have a store?
A. We sell our yarn online and at various fiber festivals and trunk shows.

Q. Do your yarns have dye lots?
A. Technically, no. The year the yarn was spun is noted on the yarn label.

Q. Do you sell wholesale?
A. Yes. Please contact us if you would like to stock our yarn in your shop.

Q. How do I take care of my Liverpool Yarns Shetland wool hand knits?
A. We recommend hand washing in cool water, using a wool wash such as Soak or Eucalan. Knitter’s Review has excellent step by step directions on washing your handknits. Liverpool Yarns are not superwash and should never be put in the washing machine or clothes dryer.
